I am committed to providing clients with a professional and caring environment to explore and find positive outcomes to meet their needs 

After training as a Nurse I spent 17 years working in the NHS in Mental Health and Learning Disability services. In 2000 I began working with children, for what is now a large childcare organisation providing services to children in residential homes and also those in foster and adoptive placements. Working as a therapist with the children and their carers and subsequently managing and developing the therapeutic services for the organisation.

In 2006 I began working in private practice as therapist and as a result developed Ann Hunter Therapy Services 
 Since 2008 I have been running a specialist therapeutic childcare service Gecko Consultancy which can be visited at www.gecko-consultancy.co.uk

What I provide


I provide therapeutic services which includes the use of:
 Psychotherapy-Hypnotherapy- Hypnopsychotherapy - EMDR (eye movement desensitisation reprocessing), counselling and coaching  

For:
Individuals - adults & children, couples, families and groups - business

 Addressing issues such as:
 Fears & Phobias, Relationship difficulties, performance, anxiety, insomnia, lack of confidence, stress, anxiety; trauma Resolution, communication issues
