What to Expect?
What can we treat?
Herbal Medicine takes a holistic approach to your well being, so we treat the underlying problems, not just the symptoms.
As herbalist's we have treated a range of conditions and have found most ailments respond well to the use of herbal medicine.
Herbalists are trained and qualified to degree level in differential diagnosis and clinical examination, as well as choosing and prescribing herbs. So your consultation with the herbalist will be much like visiting your G.P. You will be asked about your symptoms and a physical examination may be carried out. However, the herbalist will also want to know about all your body's systems and medical background, not just your present complaint. This first consultation therefore needs up to an hour in order for all the information to be gathered. Following this, a treatment plan will be agreed and a herbal remedy prescribed.
Follow up consultations are much shorter and are designed to monitor your progress and fine tune or adjust your treatment plan as required. In this way, The Herbal Practice provides a one-to-one, personalised service, which supports you as long as you need it.
Please allow 30 minutes for these sessions.
What our patients say
"Three visits to the doctors couldn't cure it yet one consultation with you did. Needless to say I have been recommending you to everyone who has the patience to listen"
