Reiki I Course

Reiki is great to learn and is available to everyone. There is no greater gift than being able to use this energy to heal. Reiki - universal life force. This ancient healing art promotes healing, reduces stress and promotes relaxation and the feeling of well-being. Reiki is gentle yet powerful, and works on a multi-dimensional basis. Modern physics is now discovering what the ancients knew that our bodies are not solid entities, rather interacting fields of energy given to continuous, creative fluctuation.
Usui and TIbetan Reiki systems are taught in a relaxed, yet informative and fun way, with my aim to ensure that all reach their full potential, which is an awesome responsibility. All students get a chance to use this, question everything, and learn and explore for themselves the benefits of Reiki. Watching students develop after completing the courses is a privilege and an honour.
Reiki I is great as we learn how to heal ourselves using the energy to heal and balance our mind, body, and spirit. It's history, uses of this energy, ways to ground and protect yourself, chakra system, as well receiving your Reiki I attunement and awareness of it's use. Awareness of the body's energy systems and practical work. You will also learn how to send healing to animals. You should be able to perform a Reiki self-healing after Reiki I.

Mushroom Hunt

Jesper Launder is a qualified medical herbalist with a reputation as a leading expert in the use of mushrooms medicinally. He started identifying and eating wild mushrooms over 25 years ago and now leads numerous Fungi Forays and Edible Mushroom Hunts throughout the autumn.

This mushroom hunt into Reddisher Woods is a great opportunity to see some of our fascinating native fungi and learn how to identify some of the very best edible species, as well as how to differentiate from the deadlier varieties! Expect to see a startling array of shapes and colours and find out about the remarkable medicinal properties of many of the most common species. At the end of the walk we will return to Vitality+ in Ramsbottom where we will all have a chance to cook and sample some of our best edible finds accompanied by some crusty bread and maybe a cold beer from the bar next door.
