                            Bowen Technique

The Bowen technique is a gentle but very effective treatment. It helps to promote healing, pain relief and the recovery of energy.
The treatment itself is gentle and relaxing. The therapist will use thumbs and fingers to move over muscle, tendons and other precise points on the body, aiming to link up with the nervous system  and make some positive changes.
The Bowen technique encourages the body to realign itself, without the use of manipulation or force.
It may be used on adults and children and can be used in many situations, but is particularly useful for whiplash, back, shoulder and neck problems, frozen shoulder, sciatic pain, asthma, hay fever, tennis elbow, knees pain, etc.

Usually 2-3 treatments at weekly intervals are sufficient to achieve lasting relief.

                            Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a holistic therapy, which uses a series of muscle tests in order to balance the meridian system and help to improve our health.
There is a muscle which relates to each system in our body, ie. our circulatory system or our digestive system. By testing the relevant muscles, it is possible to identify any weaknesses and also to find the best method to correct the problem.
Tapping or holding acupressure points may be one method. Nutritional supplements or Bach flower remedies may be recommended to enhance the treatment.
A food sensitivity test can be incorporated into the treatment as some health problems are caused by a food intolerance. Eliminating the identified food can start to bring relief within a few days.
Kinesiology can be particularly helpful for people with IBS, fatigue, allergies, poor digestion, phobias, and many other problems.

Two to three treatments are usually recommended, although many find much relief following the first treatment.

Costs are £35 per hourly session for the above treatments
