What to Expect
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into particular points on the body. The aim is to stimulate the body’s own healing response and restore its natural balance. Treatment is aimed at the root of your condition, as well as your symptoms. This approach can lead to a more permanent resolution of your problems.
About Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a tried and tested system of healthcare devised by the Chinese and other eastern cultures. Acupuncture is practised based on the Chinese medical principles that have been developed, researched and refined for over 2000 years.
Acupuncture is now widely used and accepted all over the world and is becoming increasingly popular in the UK.
Many people have acupuncture for help with specific problems whether acute or chronic and some because they feel generally unwell and have no specific diagnosis. Others choose acupuncture to enhance their feeling of well-being. Acupuncture is suitable for all ages including babies and children. It can also be used effectively alongside conventional medicine.
