Looking to give something different and unique this Christmas? Vitality + in Ramsbottom are running a series of Gift Workshops giving you the chance to make your own natural cosmetics and remedies. These easy to make products make ideal gifts – or you could just keep them for yourselves!

Each workshop lasts an hour and will provide a demonstration on how to make a single product, followed by the chance to make your own version, under the supervision of Vitality’s professional herbalist. All equipment and ingredients are provided, and if you want to make more gifts at home, you can always buy extra ingredients in store.

All workshops cost £10 each and places are limited, so book your place early by visiting Vitality + at 41 Bolton Street, Ramsbottom to buy a ticket.


Saturday 13th November

11:00 a.m. Skin Healing Bath Bags
Combine the skin soothing properties of oats with the natural healing and anti-histamine powers of chamomile or marigold. Why not add some lavender or rose to help sooth and de-stress? You can decide your favourite mix to make these simple, but effective and beautiful soothing bath bags. 

1.00p.m. Natural Perfume
Want to make your own special fragrance for yourself or that someone special? This workshop gives you the chance to mix a range of your favourite essential oils in a natural base to make your own unique fragrance. 

3:00 p.m. Anti-oxidant Face Mask
Make a soothing face mask that nourishes and tones the skin. Combining mineral rich Green Clay with the anti-oxidant properties of olive leaves, this easy to make face mask looks and works just like the expensive commercial products. Ideal for anyone who cares about their skin.
  

Saturday 20th November
 
11:00 a.m.  Rose and Honey Lip Balm
Learn how to make your own lip balm using a pre-prepared infused oil of Rose petals – together with beeswax and Honey to make a beautiful everyday lip balm – an ideal gift for mum or your favourite aunt?

2:00 p.m. Rose and Chocolate Body Butter
I first made this cream for the Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival, and it proved such a hit, I’ve decided to let you have the chance to make your own. Using all natural ingredients, this rich, decedent cream combines the soothing powers of rose with the smoothness of cocoa butter. 

N.B. For the workshops on the 20th November, you will be working in pairs to make your lip balms and creams.
